01 Ownership
All original content published on meetmeter.io is owned exclusively by the creator of Meetmeter, a private individual operating from Spain. This includes all work created for the service from its inception to the present date.
Meetmeter’s intellectual property is protected under Spanish law — specifically the Ley de Propiedad Intelectual (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/1996) — as well as the Berne Convention for the Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, which provides automatic copyright protection in 181 countries without registration.
Under the Berne Convention, copyright protection is automatic from the moment a work is created. Meetmeter does not need to register its works or display a copyright notice for protection to apply. All original content on this site is protected from the date of its creation.

The meeting cost calculator, its logic, interface, animations, and all interactive features.
Visual identity, colour palette, typography choices, component design, and layout structure.
All HTML, CSS, and JavaScript written for the Meetmeter application and website.
All blog articles, guides, analysis pieces, and editorial copy published on the site.
Charts, tables, infographics, and any original visual representation of data produced for the site.
The Meetmeter name, logotype, tagline, and any associated brand marks used on the site.

We believe in open knowledge and encourage people to engage with Meetmeter’s content thoughtfully. The following uses are explicitly permitted without requiring prior authorisation:
04 Prohibited use
The following uses are prohibited without explicit written authorisation from Meetmeter:
Reproducing, republishing, or distributing any article, guide, or written content from meetmeter.io in full — or in substantial part — on any other platform, website, newsletter, or publication, whether commercial or not.
Copying, adapting, or building derivative products based on Meetmeter’s source code, design system, or application architecture without written permission. This includes rebranding the tool under a different name and presenting it as an original product.
Using bots, crawlers, or automated tools to systematically extract content from meetmeter.io for the purpose of indexing, training AI models, building competing services, or any other bulk reproduction of content.
Using the Meetmeter name, logotype, or visual identity in a way that implies partnership, endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation without a prior written agreement. This includes using the Meetmeter name in domain names, product names, or social media handles.
05 Third-party content
Meetmeter’s blog articles may reference, quote, or link to external sources — research reports, news articles, company announcements, and third-party data. All such references are used for editorial commentary, criticism, or information purposes under fair use and fair dealing principles.
Where third-party content is used, attribution is provided. If you are a rights holder and believe any content on meetmeter.io infringes your copyright, please see section 06 below.
06 Copyright notices and takedown requests
If you are a copyright holder and believe that content published on meetmeter.io infringes your rights, we take these notices seriously and will respond promptly.
A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. The specific URL on meetmeter.io where the allegedly infringing content appears. Your contact information — name and email address. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
Send your notice via the contact page with the subject line «Copyright Notice». We aim to acknowledge all notices within 5 business days and resolve valid claims within 15 business days.
Conversely, if you believe your content has been reproduced from meetmeter.io without authorisation, please contact us at the same address.
07 Licensing and permissions
If you would like to use Meetmeter’s content in a way not covered by the permitted uses above — syndication, translation, academic research, media coverage, or collaboration — we are open to discussion.
Contact us via the contact page with a description of the intended use. We aim to respond within 10 business days. Permissions, where granted, will be confirmed in writing.
FAQ Common questions
Can I translate a Meetmeter article into another language?
Not without written permission. Translation is considered a derivative work under copyright law. If you’d like to translate an article for your audience, contact us — we’re open to it, especially for non-commercial use, and will respond within 10 business days.
Can I share Meetmeter articles in my company newsletter?
You can share a link and a short excerpt (a paragraph or two) with attribution and a link back to the full article. Reproducing the full article in a newsletter — even an internal one — requires written permission.
Can an AI tool train on Meetmeter’s content?
No. Automated scraping of meetmeter.io for AI training, model fine-tuning, or dataset creation is explicitly prohibited under this copyright notice. All rights to the content are reserved for this purpose.
I’m a journalist. Can I quote Meetmeter’s content in an article?
Yes. Short quotations for the purpose of editorial commentary, news reporting, or criticism are permitted under fair use principles. Please attribute the quote to Meetmeter and include a link to the original source where possible.
Can I use Meetmeter’s design as inspiration for my own project?
Taking inspiration is different from copying. You are welcome to be inspired by the visual direction of Meetmeter. Reproducing the design system, component structure, or code directly — even with modifications — is not permitted without written authorisation.
